The Lobster Quadrille

My latest work, which will be published in the150th Anniversary of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland book.
The book has been illustrated by many different artists, whose works you will be able to find in the project's website 150alice.com soon.

Hope you like it!!!

Gandalf the Grey - Sketch

Just a quick sketch i did last week, i love messing with my black pilot pens!!

The result is not an art piece but i like it, it was pretty fun drawing it.

(about 10 mins - mainly i used an ordinary black Pilot pen Vb5, added some touches with a black felt pen)

I Love Rock 'n' Roll - Joan Jett

I definitely love rock...so couldn't resist drawing it. It took quite long, actually it was kind of pain in the ass (i quit drawing a guitar ever again), but worth every bit of it. Despite every mistake or thing i could improve, i'm a bit proud of this work...so hope you all can enjoy it as much as i do!!!

Mars' dawn

Never done before a spatial scene, so here it's my first attempt....i definitely suck at drawing starships or mechanical things in general. Anyway, messing with some different custom brushes turned out to be quite refreshing.
(about 3h)

That guilty feeling...

I'm felling quite guilty, cause' i haven't finished any work lately....so i decided to post some of the few things/sketches i've started , unfortunately  one way or another i've ended up leaving them for wathever stupid reason.

hope someday i'll finish some of them!!!

the first ones are pretty quick sketches (about 10-20 mins)

Surfer - speedpainting

It started as a speedpainting, unfortunatelly it took me more time (about 4h). Not quite a developed work but i like the colors and lighting.

Summer Time!!!

The Morrigan

I've always been fascinated by mythology, more specifically celtic myth and folklore. Maybe it's not the most accurate interpretation of Morrigan's myths, but it's totally influenced by them.

Maybe there are a few mistakes. Anyway, i think, in general, the result is ok.

Flowers and other things

There is a first time for everything.......

.....first time i've drawn  flowers,

.....first time  i've painted on  a clothes  rack.

My mother bought it, then she got it into her head that i had to paint some flowers, ""lucky me!!!"" (why the hell  couldn't she just buy it already painted?¿)

Anyway, i've to admit it was worth it. I figured it out how to draw flowers, surprisingly i've never done it before....so at the end i learned something new.

This is the result!!!

SW: The Force Unleashed II speedpainting

more practising....about 2h?¿
not a great result, i find quite hard painting futuristic drawings, hope someday i'll draw better!!!

Community speedpainting

Our dear Dean Pelton of Greendale of Community College. Such an awesome character deserved to be drawn. I'm a huge fan of this Tv show, in my opinion it's one of the best comedy sitcoms i've ever watched since Scrubs ended. I highly recommend it!!!

(Yeap, I don't have a clue how to draw chainsaws)

I've use the default brush of photoshop and 100 % opacity.

LOTR

i'll draw some ref paintings from movies for practicing. hope i'll learn something from it!!

some will be more focused on backgrouns others on characters,  are supposed to be kind of speedpaintings (about 1h maybe 2h)

Portrait IV

What to do on such a boring afternoon? just practising a bit portraits and  the ilumination (it took me about 4h, no ref.)

I think i like more this version, even though it's less defined.

The final version....i'm not quite satisfied with the result, there is something not working but i can't figure it out, any suggestion?¿

Ameriquest Mortgage Company Advert II

Nuevo dibujillo reinterpretando anuncios.

An advert for Sci·fi channel about Gizmo show. I'm not absolutely sure about the writing ...so any suggestion is welcome!¡

Ameriquest Mortgage Company Advert

Despite of being a lenders company they have a good sense of humor. Inspired by their commercials, i'll draw a few more. Here you can watch the videos.

I wanted to use a mixed style between UPA's cartoons (for backgrounds), the poster of Tiana's place (The Princess and the Frog) and Ratatouille's dvd menu background.

Inspiration Hut - feature

OMG!!!!! Much thanks for the feature :D

Color key I

Due to the lack of landscapes in my portfolio i decided to draw a bunch of them, this one is just a quick sketch to check the colors and lighting.

Breaking Boredom

muchooooo tiempo ocioso + ganas de guarrear =
loads of time + wanting to mess a bit=

Saludos!¡

I love Lora's art and Crane's art , they are so awesome !!

I decided to try something similar, i really enjoyed doing this despite the result is not very good. Besides my scanner screw up the colors, the original looks a bit better.

I'll keep trying out this techniques, hope i will submit new drawings soon.

ink + liner 0.1

more WIP

Lately it seems as if i'm unable to finish anything i start...so here it's my last drawing, i don't know when i'll finish it or even if i'll finish this someday. I think i should repaint her breast and some fingers, besides thinking about the hole scene, specially about the background.

Anyway, any suggestion, comment, idea or criticism are welcome!¡
